Community Guidelines

Last reviewed May 23, 2026

The Pairceive community is for people trying to conceive, and for the partners and supporters in their lives. The rules below exist so everyone here can be honest about what is hard without making it harder for someone else.

What is allowed: sharing your experience, asking questions, supporting other readers, talking about setbacks, posting anonymously when you need to.

What is not allowed: medical advice from non-clinicians presented as fact, harassment of any kind, shaming someone's choices around treatment or loss, sharing identifying details about other people, spam, brigading from outside platforms.

Moderation: Reports go to a queue reviewed by Dr. Rumpa and a small paid moderation team. Severity-ordered: self-harm first, misinformation second, abuse third. Mod actions are logged in an audit trail visible to all moderators.

Anonymous posting: Every thread and reply has an anonymous toggle. Once posted anonymously, that cannot be changed (this prevents handle leaks via edit history). Moderators can still see the underlying account for accountability: anonymous means pseudonymous to peers, not to staff.

If something is off and you can't tell whether it's worth reporting, report it. We would rather review and dismiss than miss something.
