About this stage

A note from Dr. Rumpa.

When the line fades, the scan goes quiet, or the cycle ends in a negative, the questions shift. This journey covers what the loss is, the workup that follows, and how to come back when you are ready.

Start with the language. What a chemical pregnancy is, why biochemical pregnancy loss is real grief, the chemical pregnancy symptoms day by day, and what hCG levels chemical pregnancy charts actually show. For later losses, miscarriage early on symptoms, symptoms of a missed miscarriage, and the three management options including D and C vs misoprostol miscarriage.

Then the workup. After two losses you are entitled to one: the recurrent pregnancy loss workup, recurrent miscarriage tests UK clinics actually run, recurrent miscarriage and progesterone evidence from PRISM, and PCOS miscarriage risk by week with the insulin and androgen mechanisms behind it.

For failed cycles, the failed IUI next step, questions to ask after failed IVF cycle, 2 failed IVF attempts what next, and what happens to your body after a failed IVF cycle. Then the timing questions: when to take a pregnancy test after miscarriage, interpregnancy interval after miscarriage, and after failed IVF how soon can one try again.

Finally the harder ground. Grieving pregnancy loss as a partner, TTC grief and when a therapist is the right call, when your marriage bends under TTC, when to stop taking CoQ10 TTC, and the paths that change direction.

Continue the journey

Keep moving.
